AquascapePRO Pond Pumps

Choosing the right pond pumps should be based on a few job requirements. Desired flow, pumping height and electrical costs are all factors that need to be considered. The higher pond pumps need to push water, the less flow you are going to get out of that pump. Choose an Aquascape pump which will turn a pond over at least once an hour. High efficiency Aquascape pumps are higher quality, will last longer, and use less electricity. Pumps should be run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep the ecosystem functioning properly.

Tip: Two pumps may be better than one. With two pumps you have fault-tolerance and two smaller pumps can use less electric than one big pump and give you as much or more water flow. Aquascape Skimmers are sized to house two horizontal Aquascape Pumps.
